Currently seeking 3 qualified Structural Engineers with active P.E. licenses in the state of Florida to join our client’s engineering firm in Hollywood, Florida to support architectural and engineering projects.

Structural Engineer Candidates who have an Engineer in Training (EIT) or (EI) License based in Florida will also be strongly considered for hire if they have concrete restoration experience.

Projects include hi-rise concrete restoration, balconies, pool decks, parking garages, roofs, painting and waterproofing.

Primary Responsibilities:

The Structural Engineer will work within a 6-8 member team with shared responsibility
Conducting inspections
Recommending and overseeing testing
Generating design plans and specifications
Preparing reports for clients.

Requirements:

The Structural Engineer will work within a 6-8 member team with shared responsibility; however, we are looking for a well-rounded engineer with most of the experience below:

● Utilizing technical expertise in support of architectural and engineering design processes.

● Experience performing design, calculations and CAD drawings.

● Experience performing peer review of other technical data prepared by third party entities.

● Effective written and oral communication skills.

● Meticulous attention to detail and precision in project documentation and outcomes.

● Familiarity with building codes, regulations, and standards.

● Experience performing inspections, including site investigations, data collection, analysis, to determine the root cause of failures, defects, or other issues.

● Experience assisting in the development and review of technical specifications, drawings, and

construction documents.

● Generating expert reports that provide in-depth analysis, conclusions, and recommendations based on project requirements and findings.

● Experience performing site inspections, documenting existing conditions, and creating necessary

sketches.

● Experience conducting necessary calculations throughout the project duration.

● Experience generating written correspondence with clients and contractors, maintaining professional communication throughout the entire project.

● Experience interpreting investigation reports and bid documents, including drawings and technical specifications, ensuring precise understanding and implementation.
