Project Manager/Lead Roadway Engineer

Job Locations: -West Palm Beach, Orlando, Jacksonville

We are seeking a Project Manager/Lead Roadway Engineer with 12+ years of experience to be part of our Transportation team.

In this position you will manage transportation design projects for clients such as FDOT and municipalities. A strong background in Florida roadway design engineering is required as well as understanding of and coordination with multiple other disciplines including roadway drainage, structures, and survey to name a few.

Responsibilities

Oversee & manage a staff of 2 to 6 design engineers & coordinate with various disciplines both internal & external to company;

Manage/develop engineering designs including geometric alignments, profiles, cross sections, construction & maintenance of traffic details;

Create engineering documents including Typical Section Packages, Pavement Design Reports, and Variation/Exception Reports;

Perform quality control reviews & prepare/oversee construction quantity estimates;

Cross-train in other transportation disciplines including drainage, signing & pavement marking, signalization

& maintenance of traffic;

Develop plans, calculations and specifications amongst multi-discipline engineering teams.

Pursue additional work from existing & new company clients
