Bookkeeper/Staff Accountant
●Highly qualified bookkeeper
●Accounting skills
●Proficient in QuickBooks Online and Inventory management system
●Fundamental knowledge of GAAP
●Minimum of 5 years of experience
●Handles general ledger bookkeeping
●Keeps accurate records of incoming and outgoing payments to the organization
●Looks for and provide solutions for accounting irregularities
●Reviews financial information and documents quarterly and annual basis
●Handles payroll in QuickBooks online
●Prepares and process payments by verifying documentation
●Reconciles the company’s financial accounts, on a monthly basis.
●Documents financial transactions by entering account information, recording
transactions on QuickBooks and or SOS inventory and posting them to various accounts.
●Helps with financial statement and financial report preparation.
●Creates detailed reports for adjustments, inventory operations and stock levels
●Uploads incoming and up-going shipping in the inventory tracking system (SOS Inventory
or similar) to replenish inventory
●Examine the levels of raw materials and supplies to determine shortages
●Complies with federal, state, and local tax and accounting requirements
●Complies with the accounting and tax requirements of other states
